For House of Narm, I was brought on to establish the brand’s social media strategy and creative direction, building a cohesive foundation for how the brand communicates across digital platforms. The project focused on translating the brand’s values into a thoughtful and visually consistent social presence. This included developing a comprehensive strategy document that defined content direction, visual language and storytelling approach, alongside providing photography content direction, graphic styling and social templates, with ongoing monthly support to guide implementation and growth.

The strategy document established the foundation for House of Narm’s social media presence by combining industry insights, competitor analysis and clearly defined content pillars to guide how the brand communicates online. I analysed both direct competitors within the baby and children’s category and a curated selection of brands outside the industry that share aligned values in storytelling, craftsmanship, transparency and quiet luxury. This broader perspective identified key industry behaviours, visual trends and opportunities for differentiation, helping position House of Narm within a calm, thoughtful and elevated space while remaining relevant within its category. Building on these insights, I developed a series of core content pillars, themes and content ideas designed to translate the brand’s values into a consistent and emotionally resonant social presence, focusing on storytelling that highlights craftsmanship, heritage, quality and the meaningful moments surrounding parenthood while balancing inspirational, educational and community-led content.
Building on the strategy, I developed the creative direction for the brand’s social channels, translating the brand’s values into visual storytelling through photography direction, graphic styling and content concepts. The document explored photography tone, graphic applications, typographic treatments and social post structures to ensure a cohesive and stylised approach across platforms. I also designed a series of social templates and graphic assets to support consistent content creation, alongside creating a bespoke custom brand font based on the founder’s handwriting, introducing a personal and human touch that reinforces the brand’s warmth, authenticity and connection with its audience.
