Sovereign started as an idea rather than a brief, no client, no product to sell, just the chance to test a high-fashion concept against Sydney's coastline and see where it went. I developed the creative direction around structured, sculptural fashion set against raw stone and open water, clean silhouettes and considered cut-outs held against a landscape that's anything but soft.

Directing and working with the team to find that balance in real time, reflection and motion, intimacy and editorial scale, letting the ocean and the stone do as much of the work as the styling. The result is a set of images built purely on instinct and collaboration, the kind of shoot that exists to sharpen an eye rather than sell a product.
